Environment degradation and pollution as a consequence of rapid population growth and industrial development are among the main problems that the humanity is faced with. Contamination of air, water and land increasingly threatens human existence. Ecological threat in many regions has accumulated to the extent that the protection of the environment and natural resources has already become an urgent problem of economic, social, and political nature. Ecology in logistics should prevent the negative effects of activities related to the functioning of logistics systems, mainly in the production, transport and storage of physical goods. This essay will concentrate on various suggestions how to make the field of logistics more environmentally-friendly.(original abstract)

Opracowanie odnosi się do zagadnień związanych z zanieczyszczeniem środowiska, wynikających z gwałtownego rozwoju przemysłowego. Koncentruje się na istocie działań ekologistycznych oraz logistyce zwrotów, które mają znamienny wpływ na ograniczenia degradacji środowiska naturalnego.(abstrakt oryginalny)
