Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest charakterystyka infrastruktury żeglarskiej funkcjonującej na europejskich wodach morskich. Została ona wykonana za pomocą metody typologicznej, która umożliwiła wyróżnienie głównych typów infrastruktury żeglarskiej ze względu na genezę jej powstania, strukturę rodzajową (i związany z nią zakres świadczonych usług), pełnione funkcje (w obrębie usług dla turystyki żeglarskiej), a także uwarunkowania lokalizacyjne i topograficzne. Materiał analityczny został zebrany przez autora podczas ponad 20-letnich wędrówek żeglarskich po wielu morskich akwenach europejskich. Został on dodatkowo uzupełniony o informacje zawarte w literaturze przedmiotu, w tym w różnych wydawnictwach nautycznych przeznaczonych dla żeglarzy (głównie mapy, locje i specjalistyczne przewodniki żeglarskie). Dokonana w ten sposób systematyczna charakterystyka morskiej infrastruktury żeglarskiej stanowi uporządkowane kompendium wiedzy na temat sposobu zagospodarowania obszarów nadmorskich na potrzeby turystyki żeglarskiej w Europie. Może ona ponadto być punktem wyjścia do dalszych, bardziej szczegółowych analiz.(abstrakt autora)

The aim of this paper was to characterize tourist infrastructure located in European maritime areas. The study was conducted using a typological method allowing to distinguish the major types of sailing infrastructure with respect to its origins, generic structure (and the resulting scope of services), functions served (in respect of sailing tourism services), and conditions connected with the localization. The material for analysis has been collected by the author for over twenty years of sailing trips on numerous European marine waters. It was then supplemented with pieces of information from the literature, including nautical publications for sailors (primarily charts, pilot books, sailing directions and specialist cruising guides). The systematic description of sailing infrastructure elaborated in this way constitutes an ordered almanac of knowledge about the ways of adaptation of coastal areas for sailing tourism in Europe. Furthermore, it may serve as a vantage point for more detailed analyses.(author's abstract)
