Abstrakty

Niezrównoważony przepływ towarów między krajami, takimi jak państwa Azji Wschodniej i zachodniego świata, podniosły znacznie koszt rozmieszczenia pustych kontenerów. Potrzeba szybkiej i efektywnej relokacji pustych kontenerów powoduje wysokie koszty i często stanowi przeszkodę wpływającą na efektywność terminali kontenerowych portu i przewoźników śródlądowych. Linie żeglugowe starają się zmniejszyć koszty przemieszczania pustych kontenerów na tyle, na ile jest to możliwe. Większość strategii skupia się na poprawie instrumentów, aby dopasować ładunki pustych kontenerów. Ten artykuł analizuje możliwość zwiększenia efektywności kosztowej w branży logistycznej i kwestie poprawy relokacji pustych kontenerów w portach morskich poprzez wykorzystanie składanych kontenerów. Wśród wielu rozwiązań, koncepcja "Składanych kontenerów" wydaje się być obiecująca i skuteczna w redukcji kosztów repozycjonowania, przechowywania i transportu pustych kontenerów. Carrying of empty containers, which arises from the need to reposition containers, is an expensive expenditure. This holds in primarily for shipping lines, who are usually responsible for container relocation and need to bear these container managing charges. Shipping lines are forced to search for various strategies to reduce these costs of empty movement as much as they can. This article analyzes the possibility to boost the cost efficiency of the the logistic branch and improve issue of space allocation at seaports through the use of foldable containers. Among many solutions, the conception of 'Foldable Container' is promising and effective in handling reduction, storage and transportation costs of empty containers. (original abstract)
