Abstrakty

Chaos polityczny na Bliskim Wschodzie i podziały wewnętrzne w tym regionie stworzyły idealne środowisko do powstania nowej organizacji terrorystycznej - Państwa Islamskiego (IS - ang. Islamic State), które aktualnie ma ogromny wpływ na sytuację geopolityczną na całym świecie. Artykuł zawiera charakterystykę mechanizmów ideologii oraz stosowanych przez tę organizację terrorystyczną procesów rekrutacyjnych. Opracowanie podzielone jest na kilka zagadnień omawiających m.in. islam jako religię, przedstawione są filary islamu, prawo islamskie, pojęcia dżihadu, rys historyczny genezy Państwa Islamskiego, proces i metody rekrutacji. A political chaos in Middle East and internal divisions in this region constituted perfect environment for the creation of a new terrorist organization - the Islamic State (ISIS) which at the moment has an enormous impact on the geopolitical situation all around the world. The article contains the description of the ideological mechanisms and recruitment processes used by this organisation. The paper presents a few issues connected, among others, with Islam as a religion. The Islam law, the term of jihad, the origin of ISIS as well as the recruitment process and methods are described.
