The purpose of this article is to fill the research gap by combining the previous approach to entrepreneurial leadership with a more holistic perspective. This work reviews and integrates literature on capabilities, dialectical approach, entrepreneurial leadership. The paper presents an initial and conceptual approach to the role of capabilities in the development of entrepreneurial leadership, and does not attempt to argue a comprehensive theoretical framework. Nor does it intend to extend or propose the new theory regarding the origins of dynamic capabilities, dialectical approach or entrepreneurial leadership or the specific causal relationships between them.
