Abstrakty

Okres transformacji gospodarczej jest istotnym etapem zmian w gospodarce. Szczególnie ważny z punktu widzenia gospodarki jako całości jest sektor bankowy i osiągane przez niego wyniki finansowe. Celem artykułu była ocena zyskowności sektorów bankowych w okresie transformacji, przeprowadzona na przykładzie wybranych krajów regionu Bałkanów Zachodnich w okresie 2001-2015. W celu zmierzenia zyskowności zastosowano cztery wskaźniki finansowe, zaś skalę zaangażowania procesu transformacyjnego oszacowano za pomocą Trójkąta Reform Bankowych. Ponadto zaproponowano wprowadzenie modyfikacji w jego konstrukcji. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The period of the economic transformation is an important stage of the economic change. The banking sector and its financial performance are particularly important for the economy as a whole. The objective of the article is to assess the profitability of banking sectors in the transition period, based on the selected countries of the Western Balkans region from 2001 to 2015. Four financial ratios were used to measure profitability, and the involvement of transformation processes was estimated using the Bank Reform Triangle, as well as proposed modifications in its construction.
