W IV kwartale 2017 roku ogólny wskaźnik koniunktury w budownictwie (IRGCON) przyjął wartość 8,5 pkt, niższą o 7,8 punktu niż w poprzednim kwartale, lecz o 19,6 punktu wyższą niż w IV kwartale 2016 r. Tegoroczny czwarty kwartał był w budownictwie zdecydowanie korzystniejszy niż w latach poprzednich. Tak wysokiego poziomu składowej cyklicznej wskaźnika koniunktury jak obecnie nie obserwowano od 2007 roku.(fragment tekstu)
In the 4th quarter of 2017 business situation in the construction industry deteriorated. The construction confidence indicator (CCI) quarterly declined by 7.8 pts to 8.5 pts. However, it is now 19.6 pts higher than a year earlier. The 4th quarter of this year was much better for construction companies than in the previous years. Such a high level of the CCI's cyclical component hasn't been noted since the Great Recession. The indicator calculated for the majority of the surveyed groups of construction companies was up from the figures recorded one year and two years earlier. Better business situation was reported primarily by private firms. Most of the main balances (production, export orders, selling prices and employment) increased. Firms better assess general economic situation both in the country and in the industry. Construction firms are, however, pessimistic about their future business prospects.(original abstract)
