Niniejszy artykuł opisuje podstawowe zagadnienia związane z pomiarem jakości i efektywności usług zdrowotnych. W szczególności prezentowane są różnorakie aspekty jakości usług zdrowotnych (efekt końcowy, przebieg procesu), omawiana jest kwestia metod praktycznej obserwacji jakości (obserwacja bezpośrednia, dokumentacja medyczna, badanie postaw i opinii), a także rozwijane jest zagadnienie standardów jakości będących podstawą do jej oceny. The present paper describes basic issues connected to quality measurement and assessment with respect to medical services. In particular, various aspects of quality in medical services are discussed (final effect vs. process), as well as practical methods of quality observation (direct observation, medical files, opinion and attitude studies). Finally, the issue of quality standards, being the grounds for quality assessment, is treated. (original abstract)
