Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest analiza ryzyka skutków podpisania Transatlantyckiego Partnerstwa w dziedzinie Handlu i Inwestycji dla Unii Europejskiej, w obrębie przyjętej metodologii badawczej. Realizację celu osiągnięto poprzez omówienie: istoty partnerstwa transatlantyckiego, ekonomicznych relacji pomiędzy Unią Europejską a Stanami Zjednoczonymi oraz ryzyka wprowadzenia Transatlantyckiego Partnerstwa w dziedzinie Handlu i Inwestycji dla Unii Europejskiej. W opracowaniu przyjęto następującą hipotezę badawczą: ocena ryzyka skutków wprowadzenia Transatlantyckiego Partnerstwa w dziedzinie Handlu i Inwestycji dla Unii Europejskiej, nie daje obecnie legimityzacji do podpisania tego Porozumienia. Badania oparto na modelu UN-GPM (UNGlobalPolicy Model). Wyniki przeprowadzonych badań pokazują, że negocjacja TTIP w takim kształcie jak obecnie doprowadzi w UE do spadku PKB, dochodów osobistych i zatrudnienia, wzrostu niestabilności finansowej oraz utrzymania ciągłej tendencji spadkowej udziału pracy w tworzeniu PKB. The aim of this article is to analyse the risk of the consequences for the European Union of a Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership, within the agreed research methodology. The objective was achieved by discussing the essence of the Transatlantic Partnership, the economic relationship between the European Union and the United States, and the risk of establishing a transatlantic partnership on trade and investment for the European Union. The study assumes the following research hypothesis: an assessment of the risks to the European Union of the effects of the Transatlantic Partnership on Trade and Investment does not currently give legitimisation for the signature of this Agreement. The study was based on the UN-GPM model (UN Global Policy Model). The results of the research show that the TTIP negotiations as they currently stand will lead to a decline in GDP, personal income and employment in the EU, an increase in financial instability and a continuing downward trend in the contribution of labour to GDP generation.
