Abstrakty
The notion of information emerged in the mid-twentieth century, not only in cybernetics and communication theory, but also in natural sciences, including physics, chemistry, biology. An interesting approach to information presents the catastrophe theory, which laid foundations for the notion of information as a flow of form in totally mass-energy systems, identified as such by Wiener in the 1950s. It follows that the fundamental creative and control mechanisms of the universe lie in its use of forms as information. (original abstract)
