The growing amount of data in almost all business processes has led to the emergence of a new approach in management, referred to as data-driven management. In contemporary enterprises the analysis of various data, especially in the area of human resource management (HRM), plays an important role. The use of analytical approach is possible due to the use of HR metrics of the personnel function. The main purpose of this article is to indicate possibilities of using HR metrics to measure and assess activities in various fields of human resource management in an enterprise. Critical analysis of literature on this subject has been applied as a research method as well as the analysis of secondary sources (results of survey research) and a case study.(original abstract)
