The aim of the article is to discuss phenomena that are characterized by global shock and which are the result of sudden and unpredictable events with severe, destructive consequences covering at least two continents, and which may appear in the perspective of the next two decades. The article presents the consequences for the world resulting from the emergence of the global economic and financial crisis. The character and manner of international rivalry that can lead to geopolitical changes have been explained. The threats that will appear in cyberspace and their consequences for international security are characterized. Other phenomena that are characterized by global shock were pointed out(original abstract)
