Harmonization of the Standards of Ukraine and the EU in the Context of the Global Goals of European Integration

The goal of the article is identified as the argumentation of the significance of harmonization of standards in Ukraine with EU standards in the context of achieving the global tasks of this process and to identify the opportunities to raise the competitiveness of domestic enterprises and their products. The nature of the definition "harmonization of standards" was specified. Ukraine's goal is to achieve three global goals of harmonizing standards: the formation of an open and competitive economy; a unified market development and a society with high-quality food products; creation and use of effective business models, as well as their coordination with the processes of products and enterprises in the process of general standardization. The need of increasing the level of quality, safety and environmental characteristics of Ukrainian products was grounded. Strengths and weaknesses of Ukraine in some important areas of competitiveness were defined. The scheme of interaction of the enterprise with the market using marketing communications was developed.
