Abstrakty
W pierwszej części pracy dokonano identyfikacji i deskrypcji najważniejszych cech otoczenia oraz elementów otoczenia. W części drugiej artykułu zaprezentowano wyniki badań na temat roli otoczenia w działalności fum różnej wielkości. Część trzecia stanowi przegląd opracowań podsumowujących dotychczasowy dorobek naukowy z zakresu otoczenia międzynarodowego. Ze względu na teoretyczny charakter opracowania, metodami badawczymi zastosowanymi w pracy są analiza i synteza dostępnej literatury przedmiotu. Podkreślić należy, iż dokonano selekcji dostępnego materiału, bazując głównie na najnowszej literaturze międzynarodowej. (fragment tekstu)

Environment is one of the most undertaken subject in the international business literature. The aim of the article is its review, evaluation and systematization in the context of the perception of the environment in different conceptual frameworks. The paper presents respective components of environment and its features. The perception of the environment in international business is shown from the perspective of small and medium as well as large firms. Finally, the article presents elaborations, which summarized previous achievements on environment in international business. The article has theoretical character. It contains analysis and synthesis of available subject literature on the basis of current international research. (original abstract)
