Abstrakty

W artykule przedstawiono problematykę rozwoju centrów logistycznych na Litwie. Sektor logistyczny tworzy znaczną część PKB Litwy. Aby stymulować rozwój branży TSL w kraju, Litwa priorytetowo inwestuje w rozbudowę infrastruktury transportowej zarówno liniowej, jak i punktowej. Litewskie centra logistyczne, aktywnie wspierane przez państwo, będą stanowiły istotne węzły w krajowym systemie transportu i w systemie europejskim, realizując bogatą ofertę usług w sektorze TSL oraz tworząc warunki do sprawnego przepływu dóbr w międzynarodowych łańcuchach dostaw. Publiczne Centra Logistyczne tworzone są w najbardziej odpowiednich ku temu miejscach, gdzie jest duże zapotrzebowanie na profesjonalną obsługę logistyczną dla dużych potoków ładunkowych, przewożonych za pomocą różnych rodzajów transportu. Takimi strategicznymi miejscami o bardzo dogodnej lokalizacji w korytarzach transportowych są: Wilno, Kowno i Kłajpeda. W tych lokalizacjach są wdrażane: Publiczne Centrum Logistyczne Wilno, Publiczne Centrum Logistyczne Kowno i Publiczne Centrum Logistyczne Kłajpeda. Centra logistyczne wraz z terminalami intermodalnymi będą zajmowały obszar 50-300ha każde. Już działają terminale intermodalne w Wilnie i w Kownie. Tym samym zakończono I etap rozpoczętych prac. Oficjalne otwarcie terminali miało miejsce w 2015 r. Takie projekty logistyczne, jak budowa centrów logistycznych, są realizowane na Litwie po raz pierwszy(abstrakt oryginalny)

The paper discusses the development of logistics centres in Lithuania. Logistics sector contributes a substantial portion into the Lithuanian GDP. To stimulate the growth of the TSL sector in the country, Lithuania gives preference to investments aimed to expand transport infrastructure, be it linear or point. Lithuanian logistics centres which are actively supported by the government will become important nodes in the national but also in European transportation system offering a wide range of TSL services and providing conditions for smooth flow of goods in international supply chains. Public Logistics Centres develop in points that are best placed for this function where big flows of cargo transported by different modes of transportation represent high demand for professional logistics services. Such strategic locations within transportation corridors include: Vilnius, Kaunas, and Klaipeda, which host the currently constructed Vilnius Public Logistics Centre, Kaunas Public Logistics Centre, and Klaipeda Public Logistics Centre. Logistics centres with intermodal terminal will extend over the area between 50 and 300ha each. Intermodal terminals in Vilnius and Kaunas are already working meaning the 1st stage of construction works has been completed. Officially, terminals were opened back in 2015. Logistics projects, such as the construction of logistics centres, are the first of their kind in Lithuania.(original abstract)
