Abstrakty

Prezentowany artykuł podejmuje tematykę związaną z metodami badań społecznych i familiologicznych. Podjęcie tego zagadnienia wynika z konieczności wprowadzenia nowych sposobów analiz komparatystycznych, także w perspektywie współpracy instytucji tworzących system pomocy i wsparcia rodziny. Propozycją, która została przedstawiona w publikacji, jest metoda epizodów (vignettes). Metoda epizodów w krajach anglojęzycznych jest wykorzystywana od wielu lat. Przeprowadzono sporo badań z użyciem jej różnych typów i odmian, co pozwoliło określić, w jakich obszarach badawczych ma ona najlepsze zastosowanie. Jednocześnie zidentyfikowano zagrożenia, które mogą obniżać poziom trafności i rzetelności, a tym samym wiarygodności badania. W artykule zostały przedstawione różne odmiany epizodów. Został także pokazany proces przygotowania jednego typu epizodu na przykładzie badania wykonanego w ramach projektu Integracja usług na rzecz rodzin - konteksty teoretyczne i praktyczne. Celem artykułu jest przybliżenie polskim czytelnikom tej rzadko stosowanej w Polsce metody i jednocześnie poszerzenie warsztatu badawczego - zwłaszcza młodych naukowców. Istotna jest także możliwość zastosowania tej metody w szerszych badaniach komparatystycznych, także w perspektywie międzynarodowej. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The article presents a research method on social and family science. There is a need of introducing new methods of comparative analysis in the perspective of the cooperation in child and family support institutions. The vignette method is the proposal presented in the article. The vignette method has been used in English-speaking countries for many years. Numerous studies have been conducted using different types of vignettes. This allowed us to reveal which area of research is the best of its application. At the same time, factors that may reduce the level of accuracy and reliability and thus the validity of the study have been identified. Various types of episodes have been presented. The process of preparing one type of episode was shown also. It was based on the example of a study conducted under the project 'Integration of services for families - theoretical and practical contexts'. The aim of the article is to bring closer to Polish readers this rare method in and to enable the extension of the research workshop especially for young researchers. It is also important to be able to undertake wider comparative research using this method, also in an international perspective. (original abstract)
