Abstrakty

EN

The article addresses the current state of the market of higher education. The authors identify components of the financial support received by higher educational institutions and contrast it with the foreign experience of financing higher education institutions. Financing prospects of higher educational institutions are considered from the point of view of delegating more power and responsibility to local communities for financing education and for developing alternative non-state forms of financing. The authors consider the possibility of providing tax benefits to business entities involved in financing education and developing research at universities, and discuss ways of promoting philanthropy in the educational sphere.
