Przecież firma rodzinna to najbardziej klasyczny i najstarszy typ inkubatora przedsiębiorczości. (fragment tekstu)
The article presents the results of research on the impact of students' environment on their entrepreneurial attitudes. Two questionnaires were conducted (on-line and direct). 765 respondents took part in the first study, in the second the sample consisted of 150 students. The studied dependent variables were the entrepreneurial intention of attempting to set up their own business in the future as well as the attitude and orientation of entrepreneurial students. Among the examined students, those who had their own business in the family were characterized by an average higher entrepreneurial orientation. This group was also characterized by an average higher result of the entrepreneurial attitude test, which examined such factors as attitude, the influence of the environment, self-assessment of own control and the values of respondents. Analyzing the frequency of declaring intentions of establishing a company in the future depending on the assessment of support through the environment, it was noted that in the case of potential support for entrepreneurial activities by the family, it grew as the assessment of the possibility of obtaining such support by the researched person increased. Finally, it is worth noting that, on average, people who thought their surroundings expected them to be entrepreneurial were characterized by a higher motivation to make attempts in this area. The study did not test the representativeness of the analyzed populations, so the conclusions observed can't be of a general nature. However, they draw attention to areas that could be subject to broader analyzes at the national scale. (original abstract)
