Abstrakty

Od czasu zakończenia II wojny światowej i wzrostu roli Stanów Zjednoczonych na arenie międzynarodowej niemożliwe jest omawianie międzynarodowej wymiany handlowej bez odniesienia się do pozycji i znaczenia amerykańskiej gospodarki w tym zakresie. To właśnie Stany Zjednoczone ze swym kapitałem odegrały znaczącą rolę w odbudowie wielu państw po wojennych zniszczeniach i nadawały ton kształtującej się sieci powiązań handlowych. Decyzje podejmowane w Stanach Zjednoczonych dotyczące preferowanej polityki handlowej i inwestycyjnej mają duże znaczenie dla aktualnych i potencjalnych partnerów handlowych oraz dla rodzimych i zagranicznych przedsiębiorstw zaangażowanych w międzynarodową wymianę handlową. W dużej mierze wynika to z wielkości i chłonności amerykańskiego rynku, jego innowacyjności i elastyczności w reagowaniu na sygnały płynące z globalnego otoczenia. (fragment tekstu)
