Abstrakty

Spójność społeczną, będącą pojęciem wielowymiarowym, łączyć należy z poprawą dobrobytu, jakości życia. W krajach Europy Środkowej i Wschodniej (EŚW) wyróżnia się następujące kategorie regionów w zależności od stopnia ich zurbanizowania: regiony miejskie, pośrednie i wiejskie. Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja jakości życia w tak wyodrębnionych regionach oraz przemian, jakie nastąpiły wraz uzyskaniem przez kraje EŚW członkostwa w UE. Jak wynika z prowadzonych rozważań, jakość życia zależy od wielu czynników i różnicuje się pomiędzy poszczególnymi kategoriami regionów. W związku z tym wymaga to wdrożenia instrumentów polityki ekonomicznej dostosowanych do problemów poszczególnych typów regionów. Zastosowane metody badawcze: analiza literatury przedmiotu, statystyka opisowa. (abstrakt oryginalny)

Social cohesion, which is a multi-dimensional term, should be linked with an improvement in the standard of living and the quality of life. The following categories of regions depending on their degree of urbanization can be distinguished: urban, intermediate and rural in the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The aim of the paper is to identify some changes that have taken place in the quality of life in the aforementioned types of regions after the accession of the CEE countries to the EU. It follows from the consideration that the quality of life depends on multiple factors, and is varied between each category of regions. It therefore requires implementing instruments of economic policy suited for each type of region. Employed research methods: analysis of literature on the subject, descriptive statistics.
