The greatest potential for the development of the sharing economy is in the cities due to the accumulation of people, resources, technologies and interactions. New business models based on cooperation platforms affect both the economic, social and environmental spheres of cities. This impact is positive but also negative. The aim of the article is to identify the areas and directions of the sharing economy and its impact on the sustainable urban development.(original abstract)
