Abstrakty
W przeszłości podróże morskie statkami wycieczkowymi podejmowane były głównie w celach poznawczych, wypoczynkowych oraz prestiżowych. Zmiany w zachowaniach nabywczych klientów, rozwój technologii informacyjnych i moda na przynależność do różnych grup zainteresowań oraz walka konkurencyjna pomiędzy armatorami linii wycieczkowych spowodowały, że obok standardowych rejsów z zawijaniem do morskich destynacji turystycznych, na rynku dostępne są różne oferty tematyczne dostosowane do motywów podróży turystów. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie zmian w motywach podróży pasażerów statków wycieczkowych zaobserwowanych na przestrzeni czasu. W artykule wykorzystano wyniki badań przeprowadzonych wśród pasażerów statków wycieczkowych odwiedzających region Wybrzeża Gdańskiego w 2014 r. oraz wyniki badań Cruise Line International Association i Florida Caribbean Cruise Association.(abstrakt oryginalny)
In the past, cruise ship travels were mainly taken for cognitive, recreational and prestigious objectives. Changes in customers' buying behaviour, the development of information technology, fashion for belonging to different groups of interest and also competitive struggle between cruise ship-owners caused that, next to standard cruise travels with visiting famous tourist destinations, various thematic offerings customized to tourists' motives themes are available in the market. The purpose of the article is to identify changes in travel objectives of cruise ship passengers that have been observed over time. The results of original research, carried out among cruise ship passengers visiting the coast of Gdansk in 2014 and also the reports from surveys conducted by the Cruise Line International Association and the Florida Caribbean Cruise Association were used in this article.(original abstract)
