Abstrakty

Koniunktura w handlu w IV kwartale 2018 r. uległa pogorszeniu. Wartość wskaźnika koniunktury IRG SGH (IRGTRD) zmniejszyła się o 6,3 punktu i obecnie wynosi -3,1 pkt. Jest niższa od poziomu odnotowanego przed rokiem (-2,1 pkt w IV kwartale 2017 r.), lecz wyższa od średniej dla IV kwartału z ostatnich dziesięciu lat (-5,2 pkt).(fragment tekstu)

In the 4th quarter of 2018 business situation in the trade sector deteriorated. The IRG SGH trade confidence indicator (RCI) quarterly decreased by 6.3 pts to -3.1 pts. It is now 1.0 pts down from the respective 2017 figure, but 2.1 pts up from the fourth-quarters' average over the last ten years, which amounts to -5.2 pts. Though the confidence indicator and the balances of traders' financial situation, purchases of domestically produced goods, employment, volume of trade and storage space declined,the surveyed traders assessed their general economic situation as good. However, they expect their trading activity to diminish somewhat over the next two quarters. (original abstract)
