Abstrakty

The Scandinavian universities in Sweden, Denmark and Norway have certain features in common that result from the process of Europeanization and some similar experiences and circumstances. As developed countries they need to create the knowledge infrastructure necessary for the operation of large, small and medium enterprises. The triple helix model requires cooperation between three entities: university, government and industry, and the role of the first one is specific - it is to provide knowledge and technology in response to the needs of businesses in favorable conditions guaranteed by the government. This process promotes regional development in areas where near the research and education institutions the clusters of enterprises have formed. But its success requires certain favorable conditions. Its dynamic nature requires constant adaptation to the changing reality, both local and global, and to eliminate the negative phenomena that occur in the meantime.(original abstract)
