W lipcu wartość wskaźnika koniunktury IRG SGH (IRGIND) zmniejszyła się w skali miesiąca o 7,7 pkt. Obecnie wynosi -11,7 pkt i jest niższa od wartości sprzed roku o 12,5 pkt. Dla sektora prywatnego wartość wskaźnika koniunktury obniżyła się w ciągu miesiąca o 8,7 pkt i wynosi -12,3 pkt. Jest niższa niż przed rokiem o 13,3 pkt. Dla sektora publicznego wartość wskaźnika wzrosła o 1,9 pkt do poziomu -8,3 pkt. Jest jednak o 6,4 pkt niższa od wartości sprzed roku.(fragment tekstu)
In July, 2019 the manufacturing industry continued to contract. The industrial confidence indicator (ICI RIED) monthly decreased by 7.7 pts to -11.7 pts, and is now 12.5 pts down from the respective year 2018 figure. The decline of the indicator is even more important that, usually, business situation in the industry improves in July. The survey balances of production, orders, financial situation and overall economic situation in the country decreased on both monthly and annual bases. Finished goods inventories rose. The rate of the producers prices growth dropped. The only positive side of the July survey is the monthly increase of the balance of employment (the annual accrual is, however, negative). Negative cyclical factors strengthened, and the downward trend, which began at the beginning of 2018, is being sustained. Current forecasts do not instill optimism.(original abstract)
