Źródłem danych statystycznych były bazy Passport i Eurostat. Na podstawie pozyskanych z nich danych obliczono wielkość sprzedaży na 1000 mieszkańców w poszczególnych krajach (w euro). Do budowy prognozy sprzedaży użyto modeli analogowych.

The subject of the research was the sale of sportswear in the European Union countries in 2007- and the aim of the research was to build a forecast for the sale of sportswear in the European Union countries for 2018. The source of statistical data were Passport and Eurostat bases. On the basis of the data obtained from them, the sales volume per 1000 inhabitants in individual countries (in EUR) was calculated. Analog models were used to build the sales forecast. Final sales forecasts were built on the basis of partial forecasts and combined forecasts. In order to assess the admissibility of the forecasts for 2018, the relative ex post errors of the forecasts made for 2017 were used. As a result of the conducted research it turned out that it is possible to build acceptable forecasts for the sale of sportswear and that in some countries partial forecasts were better and in others combined.(original abstract)
