Abstrakty

Podstawą niniejszej recenzji było pismo rektora Szkoły Głównej Handlowej w Warszawie profesora Marka Rockiego z dnia 30 listopada 2017 roku. Zadanie przygotowania recenzji dorobku naukowego Profesora Fransa Willekensa zostało powierzone mi przez Senat Szkoły Głównej Handlowej w Warszawie (Uchwała nr 181 Senatu SGH z dnia 22 listopada 2017 roku) w związku z procedurą nadania Profesorowi tytułu doktora honoris causa, co jest dla mnie wielkim zaszczytem. Frans Willekens jest wybitnym demografem i uznanym na świecie autorytetem w analizie i modelowaniu procesów demograficznych opartych na demografii wielostanowej i podejściu badawczym przebiegu (cyklu) życia.
