Abstrakty

Opracowanie o charakterze przeglądowym i systematycznym jest adresowane do wykładowców turystyki i nauk o kulturze i religii, opracowujących i realizujących programy dydaktyczne oraz do interpretatorów dziedzictwa. Celem autora jest ułatwienie im zrozumienia historycznych kontekstów i kulturowych oraz społecznych uwarunkowań turystycznej interpretacji dziedzictwa. W prezentacji historycznego rozwoju interpretacji dziedzictwa w turystyce autor rysuje kontekst pojawiania się jej ważniejszych metod i technik. Następnie podejmuje próbę usystematyzowania jej głównych założeń i podejść. Artykuł jest pierwszym z serii opracowań dotyczących interpretacji dziedzictwa w turystyce kulturowej, które autor zamierza opublikować w czasopiśmie. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The study is of a review nature and is addressed to lecturers in tourism and cultural studies developing and performing didactic curricula related to heritage interpretation in context of tourism as well as to active interpreters. The goal is to help them understand the historical and cultural contexts as well as social conditions of the tourist heritage interpretation. In the presentation of the historical development of heritage interpretation in tourism, the author draws the context of the emergence of its more important methods and techniques. Then he attempts to systematize its main assumptions and approaches. The article is the first in a series of studies on the interpretation of heritage in cultural tourism, which the author intends to publish in the journal. (original abstract)
