Abstrakty

Indie od lat zmagają się z problemem działalności ruchów o charakterze separatystycznym. Szczególnie aktywne są one w północno-zachodnim regionie kraju, charakteryzującym się nie tylko szczególną różnorodnością etniczną, ale także licznymi problemami ekonomicznymi i społecznymi. Ludność Bodo jest jedną z grup etnicznych zaangażowanych w działalność separatystyczną na terenie stanu Asam. Artykuł ma na celu przedstawienie historii i charakterystyki ich konfliktu z władzami stanowymi oraz centralnymi w kontekście problemów regionu. (abstrakt oryginalny)

Since many years India has to deal with the problem of the activities of separatist movements. They are particularly active in the northeastern region of the country, which is characterized not only by particular ethnic diversity but also numerous social and economic problems. One of the ethnic groups engaged in separatist activities are the Bodo of Assam. The article aims to present the history and characteristics of their conflict with state and central authorities in the context of regional problems. (original abstract)
