Abstrakty
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie nowej, rozwijającej się koncepcji Smart Village jako odpowiedzi na poszukiwanie możliwości wdrożenia koncepcji zrównoważonego rozwoju na terenach wiejskich. Omówione zostały fakty historyczne, założenia teoretyczne oraz możliwości implementacyjne. Koncepcja przedstawiona została na tle dobrze znanej i rozwiniętej koncepcji Smart City. The aim of the article is to present the new, developing concept - Smart Village as a response to the search for opportunities to implement the concept of sustainable development in rural areas. Historical facts, theoretical assumptions and implementation possibilities are discussed. The concept is presented in comparison with the well-known and developed concept of Smart City.
