Abstrakty

W niniejszym tekście chcemy postawić pytanie, jaki jest charakter kryzysu zachodniego ładu liberalnego na świecie i jak wpływa on na sytuację Polski w Europie i na świecie. Czy Rzeczpospolita jest w jakimkolwiek stopniu przedmiotem tego kryzysu, a jeśli tak, to w jakim? Nie ulega wątpliwości, że po 1989 r. oraz upadku Związku Sowieckiego Polska i cały region Europy Środkowej stały się beneficjentami ekspansji liberalnego internacjonalizmu. Koniec zimnej wojny i triumf ładu liberalnego stanowi więc dla nich ważną historyczną cezurę. Ilya Prizel zauważa, że podobnie jak po roku 1918 r. od samego początku po 1989 polska polityka zagraniczna i bezpieczeństwa była silnie determinowana poczuciem geopolitycznego dylematu dużego kraju Europy Środkowej położonego między siłami Zachodu i Wschodu, przy czym w obliczu końca zimnej wojny Zachód był przedmiotem zachwytu i admiracji, a Wschód - źródłem lęku. Stąd też aksjomat wyjścia z szarej strefy pozimnowojennej geopolityki i jednoznacznego określenia miejsca Polski w nowym porządku. Zaowocował on wejściem do dwóch najważniejszych struktur, na których opierał się powojenny zachodni internacjonalizm - NATO i Unii Europejskiej. (fragment tekstu)

The genesis and structure of the liberal world order are indispensable to understand its current crisis. Therefore, the article begins with the analysis of the historical background and evolution of liberal internationalism. Furthermore, the author discusses the three dimensions of the liberal international order: the security order, the economic order and the order of values. What is ascertained, the crisis of liberalism has its external causes, yet the internal ones are also fundamental. While Poland has not experienced the visible effects of the crisis yet, it is currently exposed to the external risks and domestic divisions concerning axiological and normative issues.
