Based on the study realized in the SMEs in Mexico, there is a need that was detected for a design of a methodology for the Implementation of Lean Manufacturing System in Mexican companies and, in particular, for the SMEs. The paper presents the results of the validation of methodology proposed in real conditions of an industrial plant and the design improvements detected for this methodology in the process of its implementation. In order to validate the methodology the following elements have been developed: - Selection of a representative industrial plant from Mexican SMEs. - A sequence model to implement the methodology of lean manufacturing system. - Training required for managers and operative employees of the company. - Definition of indicators for implementation result measurement. - Validation of methodology through its implementation in workshop. conditions of an industrial plant. - Adjustment and continuous improvement required in the methodology.
