This paper present a study of the transport system in Cape Verde-Santiago Island/Praia City in order to control it true the use of the telematics application. Due to the high entropy and gas generation, fuel cost and waste of time obtained through the means of transportation in Praia, the City has been faced with the need for an immediate organization in its transportation system. The elaboration of this work intends to study the possibility to control and organize the transportation system of the city of Praia through the application of the Intelligent Transportation Systems. The main objective is to create a management and organization system of transportation in the city. Firstly, the different traffic situations must be evaluated in order to implement some form of traffic control. The use of telematics, in control of transport system has been shown very satisfactory results in some countries who have faced the same problem in the past, so this study becomes very important in order to investigate, verify and confirm the possibility of transfer of this technology to the resolution of the current problem.(original abstract)

W pracy przedstawiono analizę systemu transportu w mieście Cape Verde na wyspie Santiago / Praia City, pod kątem możliwości zastosowania rozwiązań telematycznych w praktyce. Ze względu na obserwowany wysoki poziom zanieczyszczenia powietrza wydzielinami spalin ze środków transportu kołowego, znacznych kosztów paliwa oraz różnego rodzaju odpadów, w mieście Praia istnieje pilna potrzeba reorganizacji systemu transportowego. Celem wypowiedzi jest analiza możliwości zastosowania inteligentnych systemów sterowania transportem w mieście Praia w zakresie zarządzania ruchem miejskim i budowy wymaganej przedmiotowej infrastruktury. Istotnym jest, aby system sterowania transportem miejskim uwzględniał różne możliwe scenariusze w transporcie kołowym oraz warunki otoczenia. Na podstawie analizy literatury można stwierdzić, że zastosowanie telematyki w sterowaniu systemem transportu miejskiego jest skuteczne. Istotnym jest jednakże poprzedzenie budowy odpowiednich rozwiązań badaniami wykonalności dla określonego środowiska.(abstrakt oryginalny)
