This paper discusses a community project that has been in existence in various forms for over a decade. The site is at Mpophomeni, inland of KwaZu-lu-Natal, a densely populated province situated on the eastern seaboard of Southern Africa, and inhabited largely by people belonging to the Zulu ethnic group. The community project is centred on the establishment of an eco-Museum, and the associated civic space that is developing around it, and which is also constantly evolving.(fragment of text)

Niniejszy artykuł opisuje obywatelski projekt, który jest obecny w różnych formach już od ponad dekady. Zlokalizowany jest w Mpophomeni, w głębi gęsto zaludnionej prowincji KwaZulu-Natal, położonej na wschodnim wybrzeżu Afryki Południowej. Jej mieszkańcy to głównie społeczności należące do grupy etnicznej Zulusów. Projekt skupia się głównie na stworzeniu Eko-Muzeum i towarzyszącej mu przestrzeni obywatelskiej, która formuje się wokół niego, nieustannie się rozwijając.(abstrakt oryginalny)
