W tekście zawarto skrótową analizę pojęcia europejskiego modelu społecznego. W dalszej części artykułu skoncentrowano się na analizie działań wspólnotowych, szukając odpowiedzi na pytanie: na ile unijna koncepcja EMS pokrywa się z powszechnie przyjętym w literaturze przedmiotu rozumieniem tego terminu? Wątek ten koresponduje z pytaniem sformułowanym przez prof. Włodzimierza Anioła o rolę Unii Europejskiej względem EMS. (fragment tekstu)
