Abstrakty

Problemy poruszone w niniejszym artykule są konsekwencjami francuskiego okresu w dziejach Algierii, który de facto ukształtował nowożytną formę tego kraju - państwo z ogromnymi problemami będącymi spuścizną kolonializmu. Na ten okres przypadają procesy prowadzące do fragmentaryzacji i degradacji tradycyjnych struktur społecznych; wtedy także nastąpiło zerwanie zwyczajowej więzi ludności z państwem, rodzącej się na początku XIX wieku. This article presents the role played by the army in the early phase of shaping Algerian independence, that is in the years 1962-1965. The aim of this article is a brief description of major events in Algerian political life during this period, putting particular emphasis on the turning point in Algerian twentieth-century history - Colonel Boumedienne's coup d'état.(original abstract)
