Dilemmas of Ingarden's Conception of Value

Abstrakty
(fragment tekstu)
When constructing a conception of moral values it is necessary to separate them from other values. The indication of the specific carriers of moral values requires the reference to the idea of the moral value. However, there may well be carriers of various values. In turn, the analysis of the typical moral values suggested by Ingarden leads to the indication of the conditions under which the moral values can be realized. Thus, the problem gets shifted. Besides, it is impossible to indicate those conditions without a preliminary knowledge of the nature of the moral values. (original abstract)
