An Attempt at Formal Description of Negotiation Process

Abstrakty
Przedstawiono próbę formalnego opisu procesu zbiorowego podejmowania decyzji w drodze negocjacji. Przedstawione tu dwa modele prostych typów negocjacji stanowią podstawę do dalszych badań.
There is presented an attempt at formal description of process of collective decision making by negotiations. The negotiation procedure is described with the help of concept of "pressure". As a result of the pressure the negotiators change the initial values of their objective functions. The approach makes possible the analysis of intermediate stages leading to compromises, dominating feasible decisions as well as optima being vertices of optimal decision set. Concepts introduced in the paper enable to describe various types of negotiations from various points of view. Two models of simple negotiation types presented herein form a basis for further studies. (original abstract)
