Abstrakty

W latach 1873-1876 publikuje Nietzsche cztery eseje pod wspólnym tytułem "Niewczesne rozważania", w których krytycznie analizuje ówczesną kulturę niemiecką, przeciwstawiając się optymizmowi w ocenie jej kondycji. Optymizm ten czerpał swe natchnienie ze zwycięstwa Prus nad Francją. Zdaniem Nietzschego, sukcesy militarne nie stanowią dowodu wysokiego poziomu kultury kraju zwycięskiego. (fragment tekstu)

In the years 1873-1876 Nietzsche published four essays under the common title "The III-Timed Deliberations". He opposed to the optimistic estimates of the state of the German culture propagated in connection with the military victory of Prussia over France. The author of "The III-Timed Deliberations", making use of the categories: "the real culture", "the nonculture", and "the wrong culture", attempted to show that the German culture, like the whole European culture, was affected by a crisis originating from the degeneration of the human race. Such phenomena as "narrow-mindedness", "egoism of workers", "egoism of the state", and "egoism of the knowledge" made the crisis still deeper. In Nietzsche's opinion the renaissance of "the real culture" would not come before the conditions enabling the rise of "the real human beings" had been created. Those people would dictate the masses a dignified system of values which would be favourable to the cultural development. (original abstract)
