Abstrakty
Niniejszy artykuł stanowi przegląd najważniejszych problemów dyskutowanych w międzynarodowych publikacjach dotyczących zarządzania organizacjami niekomercyjnymi, jakie ukazały się w ostatnim dziesięcioleciu. Pokazuje on, ze organizacje non profit, zarówno te z krajów o ugruntowanych demokracjach, jak i budujących je od niedawna, stoją przed wyzwaniami związanymi ze skuteczniejszymi metodami pozyskiwania środków na działalność oraz sposobami wykorzystywania dorobku z obszaru zarządzania i marketingu sfery biznesu. Organizacje non profit często postrzegane są jako prywatne inicjatywy powołane dla jakichś idei, rządzące się własnymi prawami. Jednakże z powodu znacznie większego wpływu rynku, a także wykorzystywania przez organizacje publicznych środków z jednej strony i rosnących społecznych oczekiwań związanych ze sferą non profit z drugiej, musi ona sprostać wielu nowym wyzwaniom, takim jak większa wiarygodność i transparentność, profesjonalizacja działań, czy planowanie i wyznaczanie celów na przyszłość.
