Abstrakty

Celem tego artykułu jest opisanie zjawiska nazywanego pink-washingiem, który stosuje się w odniesieniu do opisu działań Izraela wobec mniejszości seksualnych w tym kraju. Aktywności z zakresu public relations promują Izrael jako samotną oazę w otoczeniu konserwatywnych i homofobicznych Arabów, co miałoby usprawiedliwiać okupację oraz separację Palestyny. Praca ma zatem odpowiedzieć na pytanie badawcze, czy działania PR-owe Izraela skupione wokół sytuacji społeczności LGBT+ w tym kraju można uznać za pink-washing, czy jest to jedynie opinia wysunięta przez grupy propalestyńskie, które proponują międzynarodowy bojkot działań Izraela. The purpose of this article is to describe the phenomenon known as pink-washing, which applies to Israeli actions against sexual minorities in this country. Public relations activities promote Israel as a lonely oasis surrounded by conservative and homophobic Arabs, which would justify the occupation and separation of Palestine. The work is therefore to answer the research question whether the PR activities of the state of Israel focused on the situation of the LGBT+ community in this country can be considered as pink-washing or is it only an opinion of pro-Palestinian groups that propose an international boycott of Israeli activities.
