This article deals with the issue of the information society development prospects. The information society deems to be a social body that functions according to such non-conventional principles of arrangement and means of functioning, where political, socioeconomic, sci-tech and information spheres are closely connected with scientific knowledge and ways of information usage. Science becomes a direct tool/power that stimulates further development of the society. New technologies, based on the informatics use, provide new opportunities for personality development, formation of new human relations with society and nature. Thus, taking into account the requirements of modern development of the latest technologies, it is necessary to intensify theoretical and applied research on the issues of the modern paradigm of the information society functioning. W tym artykule poruszono kwestię perspektyw rozwoju społeczeństwa informacyjnego. Społeczeństwo informacyjne uważa się za ciało społeczne, które funkcjonuje zgodnie z niekonwencjonalnymi zasadami aranżacji i sposobów funkcjonowania, w których sfera polityczna, społeczno-ekonomiczna, naukowa i informacyjna są ściśle związane z wiedzą naukową i sposobami wykorzystania informacji. Nauka staje się bezpośrednim narzędziem/siłą, która stymuluje dalszy rozwój społeczeństwa. Nowe technologie oparte na informatyce dają nowe możliwości rozwoju osobowości, tworzenia nowych relacji międzyludzkich ze społeczeństwem i przyrodą. Biorąc zatem pod uwagę wymagania współczesnego rozwoju najnowszych technologii, konieczne jest zintensyfikowanie badań teoretycznych i stosowanych nad zagadnieniami współczesnego paradygmatu funkcjonowania społeczeństwa informacyjnego.
