Abstrakty

Pojęcie uzależnień czynnościowych pojawia się aktualnie coraz częściej zarówno w opracowaniach naukowych jak i terminologii wykorzystywanej przez specjalistów terapeutów uzależnień. Pomimo powszechności stosowania tego pojęcia faktem pozostaje jego nieprecyzyjność w aspekcie diagnostycznym. Współczesna wiedza na temat uzależnień wyodrębnia tylko jedno tzw. uzależnienie czynnościowe, jakim jest patologiczny hazard oraz precyzuje kryteria jego rozpoznawania w klasyfikacji zaburzeń psychicznych z 2013 roku DSM-V. Pozostałe "-izmy" (pracoholizm, zakupoholizm, itd.) tak mocno przyjęły się w języku i świadomości, iż nie wszyscy są świadomi, jaka jest tak naprawdę ich natura (czy rzeczywiście uzależnieniowa, czy też innego rodzaju). Artykuł prezentuje współczesną wiedzę na temat tzw. uzależnień czynnościowych na tle wiedzy o uzależnieniach chemicznych, wskazuje podobieństwa i różnice pomiędzy tymi rodzajami zaburzeń, a na końcu przywołuje podstawowe informacje na temat metod leczenia tych cały czas poznawanych "nowych uzależnień". The concept of behavioral addiction recently appears more often in both academic studies and terminology used by specialists addiction therapists. Despite the widespread use of this concept, the fact remains the lack of precision in terms of diagnostic. The contemporary knowledge about addictions distinguishes only one behavioral addiction, which is pathological gambling and specifies the criteria for its recognition in the classification of mental disorders DSM-V (2013). The other "ism" (workaholizm, shopaholism etc.) so strongly have adopted in the language and awareness that not everyone is aware of what is really their nature (is it addiction or other disorder). The article presents the current knowledge about the behavioral addictions on the background knowledge of chemical addictions, points out the similarities and differences between these types of disorders, and finally evokes the basic information about treatments for these all the time cognized the "new addictions".
