Historia stosunków polsko-francuskich ma wielowiekowe tradycje. Bez przesady można powiedzieć, że obustronne kontakty w relacjach międzypaństwowych zajmowały szczególe miejsce - od bardzo dawna losy Polaków splatały się blisko z dziejami państwa francuskiego. Pod wpływem licznych przemian wewnętrznych i zewnętrznych XX wiek stał się ważnym okresem w procesie pogłębienia dwustronnych stosunków. Największą uwagę poświęcano zagadnieniom polityczno-gospodarczym. Kwestią nie mniej ważną w obopólnych kontaktach pozostawała także współpraca naukowa, kulturalna czy oświatowa. (fragment tekstu)
The article presents the history of Polish-French relations in the years 1944-1947, a special post-war period. Franco-Soviet agreement obtained in 1944 during a meeting of General Charles de Gaulle Joseph Stalin was crucial for the relations of Paris and Warsaw. The Quai d'Orsay semi-officially regarded the PCNL and half a year as the first West European state approved the communist TRJN. Since then, France has been looking for an ally to the east, also in Poland. Common interests lead to co-operations, which aimed to develop bilateral political system. However, the changing international situation was highlighted in Polish-French relations. Political problems, which were the main field of activity Polish and French diplomats was described in the presented article. Outlined issues are reviewed concerning the correspondence between concepts of economic exchange. Aggravating the conflict of the Cold War, however, revealed that the disputes are so vast that it is not possible to reach agreement, which led to a reduction of mutual relations, which reigned unsympathetic and often hostile attitude. Cold War conflict revealed that agreement between Poland and France is not possible. This led to a reduction of bilateralrelations. (original abstract)
