Family in the Reflection Ofpost-Modernist Feminism

For ages people have connected family with happiness of an individual. Moreover, people living nowadays, facing various economic, social and cultural transformations, according to surveys, put the family on the top of their values. However, many feminist authors understand traditional family and mainly maternity as a source of women's oppression. We will present (without detailed analysis) three dominant feminist trends and their attitudes towards family. In this context we will situate the most influential feminist trend in the western academic world: the post-structural feminism. We will present its reflexion on family and gender agenda, inspired by this movement. At the end we will add a critical note to it.(original abstract)
