Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest analiza mechanizmów kształtowania się nierówności dochodowych w krajach posocjalistycznej transformacji. W tekście przedstawiono tendencje dynamiki i struktury dochodów we współczesnym świecie oraz zaprezentowano skutki, jakie niesie za sobą obecna faza globalizacji dla nierówności dochodowych w różnych typach gospodarek. Posocjalistyczna transformacja oznaczała daleko idące zmiany w strukturze i dynamice dochodów w gospodarce, co widać m. in. w szybko rosnących nierównościach dochodowych. O ile samo zjawisko powiększania się rozwarstwienia dochodowego należy uznać za naturalne i pozytywne, to jego bardzo duża dynamika w niektórych krajach posocjalistycznych może budzić obawy co do stabilności społecznej gospodarki w dłuższym okresie czasu.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The purpose of the text is to analyze mechanisms of income inequalities in former socialist economies. The text shows what happens with income dynamics and structure in the contemporary world and also analyzes the links between current phase of globalization and income inequalities within countries. Post-socialist transition means deep changes in the structure and dynamics of the incomes. One of the most important features of economic transition are rapidly growing income inequalities. Although growing income dispersion is to be perceived as a natural and positive process, one has to realize that in some former socialist countries income inequalities are so high that they can jeopardize long-time, social sustainable economic growth.(original abstract)
