Abstrakty

W artykule przedstawiono założenia bezobsługowych stacji wypożyczania rowerów (ang. BSS - Bike Sharing Scheme). Doświadczenia polskie z BBS oraz wyniki badań ankietowych nt. głównych powodów korzystania z BBS.

Bicycles have become in the world more and more popular, not only there, where previously it was the cheapest and most readily available means of transport (e.g. China), but also where the city infrastructure is not expected greater participation of cyclists (e.g. London, New York). Polish cities quickly responded to the emerging world's fashion on the "shared" bike. Cycling infrastructure built quickly in many cities despite temporary setbacks. Success in initiating Bike Sharing System start to be very visible in 2015. In this moment we do not know what is a factor which helped us with this success. For the number of questions it is too early to give a binding answer, but some symptoms of the motives of our probike sympathy can already be seen by analyzing the successive stages of development of BSS in Poland, compared to similar processes in the world and analyzing the survey results in Białystok and Warsaw, conducted in summer 2015.
