Abstrakty

Lata dziewięćdziesiąte przyniosły ogromny wzrost zainteresowania inflacją bazową. Równolegle ze zwracaniem się w kierunku bezpośredniej kontroli inflacji, wiele banków centralnych zauważyło potrzebę prac nad miarą wzrostu cen, która najlepiej służyłaby ich celom. Na popularność bezpośredniego celu inflacyjnego wpłynęły głównie doświadczenia inflacyjne lat siedemdziesiątych i osiemdziesiątych i związane z nimi efekty w sferze realnej. Możliwość kontrolowania stabilności poziomu cen, jak również stabilności tempa ich wzrostu, czyli inflacji, stała się perspektywą bardzo atrakcyjną.(abstrakt oryginalny)
