Abstrakty

Artykuł porusza kwestię mobilności turystów na obszarach przyrodniczo cennych. Głównym celem badania było wyłonienie innowacji, która w największym stopniu mogłaby poprawić mobilność turystów na terenie Puszczy Białowieskiej. Za pomocą metody CAWI i PAPI przeprowadzono więc ankietę na losowej próbie 421 turystów wypoczywających w Puszczy Białowieskiej. Respondenci mogli wypełnić ankietę samodzielnie przez Internet, uzyskując dostęp za pomocą kodu QR, lub odpowiedzieć na pytania ankietera. W sierpniu 2019 r. odbyło się badanie pilotażowe, natomiast badanie właściwe było realizowane we wrześniu i październiku 2019 r., od maja do czerwca 2020 r. oraz w styczniu 2021 r. Za najlepsze rozwiązanie mogące poprawić dostępność komunikacyjną obszarów odległych na terenie Puszczy respondenci uznali wprowadzenie jednego biletu na wszystkie środki transportu. Spośród innych proponowanych innowacji znaczny odsetek ankietowanych pozytywnie ocenił system rowerów elektrycznych wraz z niezbędną aplikacją. Byłaby to faktyczna nowość w badanym regionie. Wyniki badania ukazują aktualne potrzeby rynku turystycznego na badanym obszarze oraz wyznaczają priorytetowe kierunki planowania inwestycji w transporcie dla przedsiębiorców i władz lokalnych.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The article addresses the problem of tourist mobility in valuable natural habitats. The main goal of the study was to identify an innovation with the greatest potential for improving tourist mobility in the Białowieża Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. To answer this ques********tion, a random sample of 421 tourists taking their vacations in the Białowieża Forest were sur********veyed in 2019-2021 using the CAWI and PAPI method. Respondents could choose to complete the survey on their own by accessing an online questionnaire using a QR code or answer the interviewer's questions. After a pilot survey carried out in August 2019, the actual data collec********tion took place in September and October 2019, from May to June 2020, and in January 2021. According to the respondents, the introduction of a single travel card valid for all means of trans********port would be the most desirable way of improving accessibility of remote parts of the forest. As regards the other proposed innovations, a system of e-bicycles with an accompanying app was positively assessed by a considerable percentage of respondents. It would indeed be a real novelty in the region. The results of the study indicate current needs of the tourism market in the region and set priority directions for entrepreneurs and local authorities regarding transport investment plans.(original abstract)
