Abstrakty

Za cel artykułu przyjęto przedstawienie finansowania zakupu sprzętu medycznego poprzez leasing w Polsce, zwłaszcza w odniesieniu do konieczności wdrażania nowych i specjalistycznych urządzeń. W artykule skoncentrowano się na analizie informacji wskazujących na zewnętrzne źródło finansowania inwestycji w medycynie. Przedstawiono kształtowanie się liczby i wartości netto środków trwałych oddanych w leasing oraz tempo ich zmian. Ponadto w pracy dokonano badania dynamiki nowych i używanych środków oddanych w leasing w odniesieniu do roku poprzedniego oraz średniookresowego tempa zmian umów na oba rodzaje środków. Nadto by zbadać kierunek zmian w liczbie środków oddanych w leasing, wartości umów leasingowych i leasingobiorców zastosowano analizę tendencji rozwojowej. Badanie przeprowadzono na danych rocznych za lata 2008-2020 w świetle dokumentów Związku Polskiego Leasingu i Głównego Urzędu Statystycznego. Niemal we wszystkich placówkach medycznych w związku z trudną sytuacją finansową i koniecznością implementowania innowacyjnych rozwiązań decydenci finansują zakup lub modernizację sprzętu medycznego coraz częściej stosując leasing. W Polsce na rynku medycznym ten sposób finansowania inwestycji rozwija się, choć można zauważyć pewne wahania poziomów. Po spadku w 2019 r. liczby leasingobiorców rok później ta liczba wzrosła. Przewiduje się, że nadal będzie się ona zwiększała (średnio o 2,27% z roku na rok), zwłaszcza pod wpływem rosnących oczekiwań konsumentów świadczeń. Prognozy wskazują, że następstwem tego będzie wzrost liczby i wartości nowych leasingowanych środków (odpowiednio średnio o 1,27% i 2,93% z roku na rok), przy jednoczesnym spadku używanych środków oddanych w leasing (odpowiednio średnio o 3,97% i 6,02% z roku na rok). Podsumowując, uchwycenie zmian w przebiegu leasingu odgrywa istotną rolę w zarządzaniu płynnością finansową placówek medycznych, dla których leasing jest pożądany z uwagi na liczne korzyści, np. nie trzeba jednorazowo wypłacać środków na sfinansowanie zakupu nowoczesnego sprzętu medycznego. The underlying objective of the article is to present the financing of the purchase of medical equipment through leasing in Poland, especially with regard to the need to implement new and specialized equipment. The article focuses on the analysis of information indicating an external source of financing investment in medicine. The author presents the development of the number and net value of fixed assets leased and the rate of change. In addition, the paper examines the dynamics of new and used leased assets in relation to the previous year and the medium-term rate of change of contracts for both types of assets. Additionally, to study the direction of changes in the number of leased assets, the value of leasing contracts and lessees, a development trend analysis was applied. The study was conducted on annual data for 2008- 2020 in light of documents of the Polish Leasing Association and the Central Statistical Office. In almost all medical facilities, due to the difficult financial situation and the need to implement innovative solutions, decision-makers are financing the purchase or modernization of medical equipment by increasingly using leasing. In the Polish medical market, this method of financing investments is growing, although some fluctuation in levels can be observed. After a decline in 2019, the number of lessees increased a year later. It is expected to continue to increase (by an average of 2.27% year-on-year), especially under the influence of rising expectations of benefit consumers. Projections indicate that this will be followed by an increase in the number and value of new leased assets (by an average of 1.27% and 2.93% year-on-year, respectively), while used leased assets will decline (by an average of 3.97% and 6.02% year-on-year, respectively). In conclusion, capturing changes in the course of leasing plays an important role in managing the liquidity of medical facilities, for which leasing is desirable because of its many benefits, such as not having to make a one-time payment to finance the purchase of modern medical equipment.
